Standard Manufacturer Warranty

All products, including units, filters, parts and accessories are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 6 months from the purchase date. The purification elements and unit housings only are warranted for a 2-year period, prorated in 6 month intervals.

Berkey Lifetime Warranty

When you choose to be covered by our exclusive Berkey Care Warranty you receive a Lifetime warranty on stainless steel canister, spigots, washers, wing nuts and filters. For our customers who choose to, register at the time of their purchase, we provide a lifetime replacement policy as follows: If at anytime the container of your stainless steel Berkey water filter system (including spigots, washers or nuts) fails in anyway due to materials or workmanship, Berkey Filters UK will promptly replace that container or covered part free of charge. This offer only applies to our Lifetime Warranty customers. Customers will register automatically at time of purchase of the system in question. It does not cover damage caused by carelessness, accidents or abuse of the system or after the lifetime of the Black Berkey filters (filters will be inspected if any failure occur).
This is an exclusive offer only to our valued customers, from Berkey Water Filters Asia and is in addition to all other stated warranties from Berkey Water Filter Systems.

Specially designed Berkey cleaner Pad + Replacement kit for all Berkey filters
The Berkey pad is designed to open up and deep clean the Black Berkey Filters & remove all heavy metals & other chemicals from the filter surface.
Cleaning is recommended every 6-12 months on all Berkey filters.
Heavy metals and other chemicals get stuck on the outside of the filters and needs to be removed and taken off the filter surface at least every 12 months. This specially designed pad will remove all unwanted chemicals and dirt from the Black Berkey Filters
Replacement Kit For Berkey system with Black Berkey Elements contains:

2 Black Berkey Washers
2 Wing Nuts
2 Poly Blocking Plugs
1 Replacement Spigot
1 Knob(with screw) for Lid
1 Berkey Scotch Brite Berkey Pad for cleaning the Black Berkey filters

Fits Models: All Berkey filters (Black Berkey filters)
Brush the filters under medium warm water with the Berkey pad for at least 2-3 minutes each (make sure to clean all sides)
Brush them quite hard to be able to remove all the dirt.
After cleaning, place the filters back in your Berkey system and they are ready to use
Repeat this process every 6-12 month.
Family of 5+ or heavy users should clean their Berkey filters at least every 6 months instead of 12.

When will you ship my order?

All products are shipped the same day if ordered before 3pm. For Thai orders we use Kerrys who will deliver 2-3 days from dispatch.
We will provide a tracking number on the day of dispatch for you to track your consignment on the Kerrys website.

How fast will my water filter purify tap water?

The system will purify up to 13.3 litres per hour with 2 x Black Berkey filters inside (or 26.6 Litres per hour with 4 x Black Berkey filters inside).
In real terms, this equates to approximately 1 glass of water per minute.

I love the taste of this water, very impressed with this filter and it looks fab to boot too :)

We like the Berkey but

We like the Berkey but live in a hard water area where the inside of both containers attracted limestone deposit which was/is still difficult to shift. It would be helpful to have some way of really cleaning the containers, we fear they will now harbour germs etc. Also we had a lot of spare parts we did not need to use. So may be it is time to review your spare part/cleaner offer and its price which we did not think was value for money.
