Standard Manufacturer Warranty

All products, including units, filters, parts and accessories are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 6 months from the purchase date. The purification elements and unit housings only are warranted for a 2-year period, prorated in 6 month intervals.

Berkey Lifetime Warranty

When you choose to be covered by our exclusive Berkey Care Warranty you receive a Lifetime warranty on stainless steel canister, spigots, washers, wing nuts and filters. For our customers who choose to, register at the time of their purchase, we provide a lifetime replacement policy as follows: If at anytime the container of your stainless steel Berkey water filter system (including spigots, washers or nuts) fails in anyway due to materials or workmanship, Berkey Filters UK will promptly replace that container or covered part free of charge. This offer only applies to our Lifetime Warranty customers. Customers will register automatically at time of purchase of the system in question. It does not cover damage caused by carelessness, accidents or abuse of the system or after the lifetime of the Black Berkey filters (filters will be inspected if any failure occur).

When will you ship my order?

All products are shipped the same day if ordered before 3pm. For Thai orders we use Kerrys who will deliver 2-3 days from dispatch.
We will provide a tracking number on the day of dispatch for you to track your consignment on the Kerrys website.

How fast will my water filter purify tap water?

The system will purify up to 13.3 litres per hour with 2 x Black Berkey filters inside (or 26.6 Litres per hour with 4 x Black Berkey filters inside).
In real terms, this equates to approximately 1 glass of water per minute.

A priori, notre Berkey Light marche bien. j'aimerais avoir des précisions:
L'eau reste toujours au fond de la cuve supérieure, sur 2 CM de hauteur: est ce normal?
Au début, l'eau filtrée avait un gout, plus maintenant; est ce normal?
Comment etre sur que l'eau filtrée peut etre bue, sans risque?
Au début du filtrage, quand la cuve supérieure est pleine, l'eau sort des filtres avec un débit assez fort, puis vient le goutte à goutte: est ce normal?
Nous sommes satisfaits de notre Berkey Light.

12,5 liters is a bit big for me we are 2 persons then as you're out of stock of the 8,5 liters, we will i guess drink more water which is good anyhow.

Berkey Light

Next to the stainless steel Big Burkey the Berkey Light looks like an institutional
appliance but its transparent form allows an instant check the status of available
filtered water. It is also interesting to see how the filters work in real time.

By and large your User Instructions were very good. However, your instructions stated to "align the seams on the top unit and the bottom unit" - I could not find the seams! Then it talked about sliding the nipples under the .................... I could not find the "nipples" ! They were not identified on the instruction sheets. These may be very simple matters for you who spend all day, every day, working with Berkey systems, but for someone who has never seen a Berkey before it is quite confusing.
